It was our first time in Africa so we had to ensure we got the best agent for our trip. after our internet search and several inquiries from different agents, we settled for Ahambi Tours. The timely response and well-articulated answers to our email gave us a lot of confidence in them on top of this they gave us a very practical proposal for our 16 days in Kenya which was to include Mt. Kenya trekking, Wildlife safari, and a visit to Diani Beach.
Upon arrival at the Airport, it was the first time to experience the agent in person. we were welcomed to Kenya by Jane who gave a brief introduction to our trip to Kenya. By this, we could tell we were in good hands.
Our first visit was a 5-day Mt. Kenya trek using the Sirimon to Chogoria route which was recommended to us by the agent mainly due to the weather conditions at the mountain during that time as it was the only route with accommodation in huts. for sure camping would have been next to suicide based on how the weather was at that time. Our guide was Eldada and I have to say the guy has what it takes for his job, is very knowledgeable about the mountain and Kenya, professional, and very caring. Our chef was Samuel, Thanks a lot for the delicious and a lot of meal that you gave us, we miss the soup which was served every day. To the rest of the team in the mountains thanks a lot for everything.
Next was our 8-day Safari. We visited Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo. This was perfectly planned and our tour guide Fred who was also the driver made it even more enjoyable. All the big five are in our memory cards. I have to say the Safari was Amazing, I can't imagine how one country has all this beauty.
Diani Beach; This was the climax of our visit to Kenya and we had very quality time at the beach.
Ahambi Tours thanks so much for organizing and coordinating a great trip for us we felt at home.
I will recommend this agent to anyone without any doubt.

During our visit to Kenya we went on a 5-day Mount Kenya hike and a 4-day wildlife safari at the Masai Mara.
The trip was well-organized by Ahambi Tours, and our guides James and Mark were knowledgeable and very friendly throughout the journey.
The highlight of Mt. Kenya hike was reaching the summit, which was a challenging but rewarding experience. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking, and we felt real sense of accomplishment. The hike itself was well-paced, with plenty of rest stops and a lot of foods.
The Masai Mara safari was equally amazing, with plenty of opportunities to see wildlife up close. I have to say that Masai Mara is a must visit for anyone who loves wildlife
Throughout the trip, Ahambi Tours team were exceptional. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer our questions. Special thanks to the team in the office, the timely response to our emails before the trip made the planing very easy for us.
Overall, I would highly recommend Ahambi Tours to anyone who loves adventure . It was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for years to come.".

We did 10 days of wildlife safaris in Kenya with Ahambi Tours and the experience was one of the best.
The company is locally owned which was a good thing for us.
They changed our plans and came up with a very good itinerary which ensured that we had the opportunity to see all the big 5 animals and many more. The itinerary also ensured we were not on the road most of time or having very long drive.
To our Safari guide Fred you made the experience even more great. Fred would easily sport the animals and knew where to find them in all the parks. For sure Fred knows his job.
I would also like to thank Jane who was our trip coordinate for ensuring everything went on well as per the plans.
I would highly recommend this tour company for anyone any day.

We had booked our first trip to Mt. Kenya with Ahambi Tours 3 years ago during the dry period. Our guide by then Patrick and the team were very supportive and made everything successful. The guide recommended that we hike during the wet season for a different experience on the same mountain he even showed us some photos which made us have it on our to-do list.
This year we planned everything and true to our expectations we will have a life time memories for the experience. The photos especially at sunrise will leave with us forever. Many thanks to our guide, chef, porters and the office team for making this happen.
It is very important to not the the weather conditions during the wet season are very charging and need a lot of strength but the views are equally very rewarding.
My advice to anyone planning to take the hike during this season is that you need well experienced guide and a very supportive team with the right equipment.
Ahambi Tours thanks so much for making this happen.
Next should be Kilimanjaro.
I highly recommend this tour company.

Thanks Ahambi Tours for making our trip the best we even thought of.
The organization and coordination of things from booking to the trekking is amazing.
I would also like to thank the team in the office for guiding us on the best route to take. The Chogoria route didn't disappoint even for a day.
Special thanks to the team at the mountains, for sure you know your things. How you manage to even prepare delicious food in that conditions only tells that you are expertise in it.
We hope to tour with you again in the near future especially a trip to Kili.
I would highly recommend Ahambi Tours for anyone planning for a trip to Mt. Kenya.

What can I say for an agency, that has already a 5 star rating?
Well, I choose them because of their rating and because they are based in Nanyuki, so they now about Mt. Kenya and there is no agency in between.
I was not disappointed. Everything works out fine for the Mt. Kenya hike from
the beginning.
Will I go with them again in the future ?: Yes, definitely
Can I recommend them ? Yes, without hesitation, trustworthy.
Patrick was a great mountain guide, and Charles good in organizing the trip.

I had a wonderful experience with Ahambi for my solo hike/ climb of Mount Kenya in Sept 2023 (4 days). Colleagues from Ahambi (Charles) really set me up well and that too, on a very short notice. They were also very kind to lend me some of their climbing gears. The team that stayed Aldet (guide), Samuel (chef) and Patrick (porter) were very supportive, quite caring and did everything possible to look after my needs. During my hikes, Aldet made sure to also draw my attention to many unique things about the area, plants, birds, peaks and other facts. Aldet also encouraged me throughout, and 'held my hand' (many times quite literally!) throughout the trip. Thoroughly enjoyable.
The fourth day (day when I climbed to the summit), was a pretty exhaustive, with almost 13 hours of trekking and climbing. I wasn't aware that it will take so long and thought I pushed myself, and did it, would recommend people to be aware of this and Ahambi colleagues to explain this clearly and suggest options.
I had a fantastic time and thanks Charles, Aldet and Ahambi!

5 of us did Mt Kenya with Ahambi Tours back in February 2023. Everything was great with this company from responding to our emails to the transportation, food and guide services during our expedition. The guides were great and we felt very much supported during our trip. We recommend them without any hesitation.

After much research, we booked a 5 day mount Kenya hike & 5 day safari trip with Ahambi Tours. I am very glad we stumbled upon them as they were truly amazing from the second we landed & took off from Kenya!!! The whole team are extremely friendly and super helpful throughout the whole time! They answered all of our questions, provided delicious food and much more. David & Charles (our guides) & their team for the hike were truly kind people.
This company is locally owned which was also important to me. My hope is that my money goes to the local people within and not have any hidden fees going elsewhere. Ahambi Tours provides exactly that which I really appreciated! We received amazing souvenirs included in our trip - a shirt and a bottle of water! Our safari experience was also incredible! We visited Maasai Mara and Amboseli National Park with our amazing guide - Moses! We were shown around in a great way and once again with a friendly & happy guide. I truly love that I chose to visit Kenya with this company. Both of us plan to visit again and book with Ahambi Tours within the next few years!

From the beginning Ahambi Tours team acted in a professional way timely response to our email and very detailed response to any question or clarification, everything down to smallest things had been thought off.
Climbing crew led by John the guide was exceptional, always willing to assist and went far and beyond to make our experience as good as possible.
Food was delicious and service great.
