We used to go to cascade falls all the time when we were kids, before anyone even knew about it. There is a petrified log that you can sit in in the bottom pool. We use to climb up the hill on the side by...More

Lovely swimming hole in spring water. You can wade above the falls in chrystal clear water or jump off small cliff below falls. Watch out for poison ivy!

This place is a hidden gem; you can swim and picnic. Basic out house restrooms kept clean. Restrooms and parking is locked in winter.

My visit to Cascade Falls was unforgettable. I Want to start by mentioning I use a manual wheelchair. The path from the parking lot to the picinic area just before the falls is moderately accessible. There is a gravel/dirt path that I needed minimal assistance...More

Found out about this site on a blog and was so glad we made the effort to find it. Crystal clear waters, beautiful falls, a wonderful day in natural spring water.

We didn't know this place existed until another tourist at the Mammoth Site told us about it. It was a hot day and luckily we had our swimsuits with us so we drove the 10 minutes out of town to visit it. I am glad...More

We’re outdoorsy/adventurous people so the thought of a remote swimming hole was right up our alley! This was easy to find and cooled us off nicely on a hot summer day! It wasn’t too crowded either. The water had 3 different levels, just enough to...More

We stopped and had a picnic lunch here after our tour at the nearby Wild Horse Sanctuary. The "falls" are very pretty and a short walk from parking area. However, if you're not planning to swim, there's not much else to do than look and...More

Not really. You have to go down some steep areas to reach it, and the floor of the stream is very uneven so wading around in a wheelchair would not be a good idea. Some areas are also pretty deep. I would not recommend... More
