Parking is the only challenge here as the trail is freshly repaved, so good for families with strollers too. Views are wonderful and you almost always have a fresh breeze cooling you as you climb the gentle slope. A few signs give you some useful...More

Wow, a free paved trail with parking! The lighthouse overlook is a little over two miles round trip winding up a fairly steep trail with no shade. It does get hot! But the trail is wide and smooth, so that children's carriages and wheel chairs...More

Since this trail is paved the whole way, it's fairly easy. It is uphill but it's one of the easier hikes on Oahu. In the winter, it's a great spot for whale watching.

The hike to the lighthouse is paved but very steep. Bring water with you. The hike is very steep all the way up. Good news it is a nice walk down, still steep though.

Like Diamond Head, you don't want to be doing this walk in the middle of the day. This is a steeper climb I think than Diamond Head but there are look out's (read "rest areas") along the way. (You can climb down to some tide...More

Very little parking and steep walk to the top, BUT well worth the hike. Bluest water I've ever seen. Beautiful landscape.
