Visited this location while attending the Newport Food & Wine festat the Marble House mansion next door. Mansion was easy to review as it is smaller than the Breakers, but has it’s own unique history of the Daughter of an 1880s silver baron. Unfortunately, she...More

This was a huge mansion with a breathtaking view of the water. The entrance was not as lovely as other mansions. It is currently used special event/wedding venue. The tour was did not include all of the house which was disappointing

Great tour of the Rosecliff and really liked the views out back! Interesting that the 2nd floor is more of a display of a seasonal theme than a tour of the original, but still good

Rosecliff is a beautiful home that is used for weddings and events. Wish we could get married again to do it there!

This is where the best Great Gatsby film was made with Mia Farrow and Robert Redford.. This is my favorite of all the Gilded Agee summer cottages. I would love to have a huge party here!!!!

Although not as ridiculous as The Breakers, it comes in at a close second. The self guided tour is very informative and the optional information gave much insight into the lives of the former residents. This is where The Great Gatsby was filmed and is...More

Rosecliff Mansion, built in 1902, is decorated in an exquisite and bright French chateau style, just perfect for gilded age entertaining. Again, an audio, self-guided tour is available. The personal story of Tessie Oelrichs who built this party home is also very interesting. Do not...More
