This place has incredible potential!! And with a few changes, we’d be back in a heartbeat. But as is, we will not be going again.
Pros: The runs are fun!! There seems to be a range from mild to really exciting runs (we only rode 2 diff ones)! The fire pits, food trucks, and tables are great. The checkin process was simple and efficient. The people at the ticket window were kind and helpful.
Cons: We went on a “sold out” day with an afternoon half day ticket. We got there right at 1pm. We only rode 3 runs in 2 hours. Lines averaged 30-40 minutes for a 30-40 second tube run. The lines for the more exciting runs were even longer. Each person, even little toddlers must be in their own tube meaning a parent must wait for the correct amount of tubes at the bottom where no one is helping, and then haul all of the tubes + kids up the mountain. The employees at the runs didn’t help hold tubes at the top nor even tell you when to go; they just stood there. The ones at the bottom didn’t help clear tubes to speed the lines up; they just stood there. The port-a-potties are so disgusting! I camp. I can handle port-a-potties. They aren’t foreign to us. But these were bad.

Overall, we left at 3pm and went to a nearby recreational area with a Costco sled and enjoyed ourselves much better.

Suggestions to people going:
1. Stop at a nearby gas station and make everyone use the bathroom before you get there so you can hopefully avoid the port-a-potties.
2. Be prepared to kill time in long lines.
3. Consider some other family activity if you have young children (5 and under).

Suggestions to Flagstaff Snow Park
1. Make your next improvement flushing toilets and sinks to wash your hands and a diaper changing station.
2. Limit the number of people that are allowed in or employ/train more efficient/helpful employees so wait times are drastically cut down.
3. Maybe next add in a tube lift so the tubes are hauled up on a conveyor belt so families aren’t left to haul all of them while also hauling up kids.

Summary, as I mentioned first, this place has huge potential! I hope to see the improvements listed above over the years. If so, we will give it another try. If not, a Costco sled and a recreational area offers more fun for a young family or those who doesn’t value waiting in lines for just mere seconds of thrill.

We rode the Arizona Gondola to the top of the mountain. The elevation at the top is 11,500 feet. The views are spectacular. The gondola ride was completed in 2019, but it looks like it was just finished. Due to COVID-19, it didn't operate in 2020.

We were at the snow park for around 5 hours in January 2021. It was more crowded than I would have expected. I assumed they would take in less people to make social distancing more easy. The food at the trucks was amazing! Truly delicious and worth the expense. They did take credit cards. Nobody had lids, which made tomato soup or hot chocolate a challenge. No carrying trays either. There were plenty of spaces-out picnic tables. It looks like a lot of people chose to bring in their own food. The staff-run fire pits for roasting s’mores was a nice touch. Some of the snow slides took 20-25 minutes waiting in line, which can be a challenge with small kids. The pathways were all easy to walk on. Port-A-Potties only - YUCK. They were not maintained and nobody seemed to have the decency to tidy the seat if they squatted and missed.....Not my favorite part of the park experience. I’ve been to campsites with significantly better maintained bathroom facilities. The zip line seemed like it was for the truly brave or experienced. The employees at the bottom of the slide were good about reminding people to get up and move quickly. The guys at the top of the slides seemed less interested in assisting people. Overall a good experience. Everyone seemed really happy there. The music on the speakers added to the fun. We would go back again in the future.

I have wanted to visit the snow park for years, and today was the first day I was able to experience it. There has not really been much natural snow in Flagstaff so I was surprised to see the winter wonderland they have created in the forest. All the runs were covered with man-made snow which was amazing to tube on. The tubes were great quality, the staff was friendly and fun and the atmosphere was festive. The food trucks and picnic tables and fire pits were a great way to relax after the exciting runs. So great to see so many families enjoying themselves! I will definitely be back!

We went the weekend after opening in December 2019 and it was great! With 2 little ones, ages 3 and 6, we were all able to ride and it was a blast. It was a little busy so some lines were longer, but nothing crazy. There was a great fire pit, s'more fixings you could purchase, and other food/cocoa options. Just remember to bring your wallet, because it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to where the action is. Lots of port-a-potties. My only complaint is that the park is literally next to Santa's Workshop for the North Pole Experience which we had just visited the day before, so we had to distract our kids so they didn't see the trolly pulling up to the building as we were driving into the parking lot/parking. We won't be going again while the NPX is running, until our kids are much older.

Great fun in the snow. Plenty of hills for beginners and the brave. The woods even have enough snow to build a snowman

Great experience, the lines were not too long of a wait to go down the hills. They had plenty of tubes for everyone. We had a great time and will definitely return next winter

So we went opening weekend and there wasn't enough snow to open all of the slopes however my boyfriend and I really spent hours here. There were food stands, multiple slopes to go down, and all the lines were short. My only complaint was the walks back up the slopes made me so tired as someone who has low stamina. The food stands all sold hot chocolate and it had regular food as well as sweets it was just delicious and hit the spot. I advise anyone planning on going here to follow their Facebook page to stay updated since they'll give more updates there rather than the website. Overall really fun and a great trip. Do not bring sleds or your dog and snow pants is rather unnecessary unless you plan on going into the snow play area where you can have snowball fights and build snowmen etc.
