Beautiful church/Basilica, reminds me of mine from grade school. Very ornate. The mass itself was something else. The priest gave a 35 minute homily that not only made no sense, but was the most boring homily/sermon I have ever experienced. Before mass starts they tell...More

This national Basilica is gorgeous and just so spiritually inspiring and uplifting. From its homage to St. Theresa of Lisieux to the stained glass and an absolutely beautiful altar, this is a must visit for Catholics and pilgrims visiting San Antonio!

We love going and walking through this awesome Basilica. While we are not religious folks we found a great appreciation for this place. As a tradesman I particularly loved looking at the woodwork and stonework. The stained glass is also breathtaking. We also enjoyed visiting...More

Saw this on TripAdvisor, so had to go look for it. This is a beautiful old Basilica with a beautiful interior and stained glass windows. Worth going out of the way to see.

Don't miss any of the Missions of San Antonio and don't miss the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower either! Absolutely beautiful church!

We stopped into the gift shop at the Basilica first to buy a few gifts for friends and then went over to the church. We stayed for mass and it was a lovely service in an even lovelier setting. The basilica is well decorated and...More

Probably great in its hay day but old now, horrible lighting, very dated, and nothing that would make it stand out today in order to be given the title of basilica.

It's hard to miss this beautiful church when you are on the city's Westside of town. I have not been inside, but the architecture of this basilica is gorgeous.

It didn't get a 5 because I just got back from Europe. It's not in a very good neighborhood so lock your cars and bring your belongings with you. But it's beautiful and worth a visit.
