Yes there are some obvious tourist traps, but stroll the whole area and have a good look around. The architecture is great and the streets are very interesting. Take a few hours and have a good look around.

It's a year round destination but I would pick a warmer time of year to visit the many outside attractions. Old graveyard is extremely interesting. Best to look up on website if you are seriously thinking of going off season.

I did not visit any of the museums while I was there but I just googled them and both list in there ads that they are handicapped accessible for wheel chairs. I hope you are able to make that trip. You will not be sorry... More
