What a great park! The selection of trails offer something for everyone. From short 1/4 mile nature walks to long, challenging hikes miles long into the surrounding mountains. Arrive early, before the heat kicks in and pack water and a good hat. The $5 entry...More

What an absolutely beautiful gem we have here in Tucson. One of my favorite places to walk, and favorite place to show out of town guests. The canyon is a desert paradise, with a flowing stream, beautiful Saguaros, trails, etc. When in Tucson, do not...More

Sabino Canyon is absolutely gorgeous. I don't recommend going during the summer if you do take lots of water. The hiking trails are incredible. Wonderful place to take the family nice picnic areas. Convenient location. Near places to eat. Wonderful sites absolute beautiful desert view

Beautiful hiking trails and great place to experience the Sonoran desert. The gift shop is a wealth of information and docents and rangers, some volunteer some not, are well educated on all aspects of the desert. A place not to be missed when visiting Tucson.

This is a spectacular hiking venue. Complete with a variety of hiking trails for all hiking levels and a friendly staff at the visitors center. Highly recommended. Lots of local day hikers. Beware that parking fills quickly on the weekends.

What a great time to spend with family and friends getting some fresh air, excise and just opening senses to hearing birds, listen to Zen experience of water trickling down a babbling brook. Talk about relaxing, empowering yourself. Aloha lmb

This lovely place is wonderful for a hike. It delivers great desert views and a peaceful environment. It also connects to Mt Lemmon so if one is interested in a bit of a longer hike, this is a great place for that.

It's about 2 1/2 miles each way. We are 60 years old and had no trouble with it. Not a lot of elevation gain. You do have to cross the creek 7 times by walking on rocks. I think an agile 7 or 8 year old would be fine. Feet... More
