Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you want to duty free shop there are a few important points.
1. The best selection is here at the Galleria. The airport has much smaller selection.
2. There are 2 prices on a lot of things. If you truly want the best deal, tell the staff you want it ordered to deliver to the airport. For example if your luggage will be overweight and you buy liquid, or alcohol for example, you can not carry it on the plane unless you order to deliver to the airport. If you buy from the store, you pay more and have to check it in your luggage. (some things are the same price)
3. Some things are cheaper across the street from the DFS in the ABC Store. Alcohol, clothes and makeup seem to be good here at DFS, plus they have higher end brands and some exclusives. Chocolates are a much better deal across the street. Just look for ABC stores directly across from the entrance.
4. There is a bus that runs around the town to bring you back and forth.
5. There is a sale rack around the area with food, snacks and vitamins which has good deals. Some 30%, 50% and 70% off. Worth a look.

Good prices as this mall is duty free.
I've compared prices at similar stores in Japan and the USA - there are savings to be has.
Gucci, Lois Vutton, Prada, Cartier, Tiffany, Hermes, Loewes, Chanel, I think I'm missing a few - have all their own boutique stores within DFS.
Perfumes, cosmetics, souveniers, watches, crystal.
There is enough to satisfy the most particular shop-a -holic.

This location has every high end store you could dream of walking through. I have no idea why you would go to Saipan to do that type of shopping. But if you just wanted to be able to say you bought your $1000 Gucci boots there, then by all means, go right ahead. The merchandise was exquisite I must admit. Tiffany was calling my name, as well as, Prada, Loews, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, etc. The Galleria is a great place to escape the humidity and live the dream if only for a fleeting moment. Enjoy!

Big disappointment with the Nike Shop personnel. It was obvious her only motive was to sell us something, anything. She flatly refused to accommodate us to take it out of the package, even though it could have easily be returned to its original packaging without damage. Just plain laziness, in my opinion and evidently no incentive to make customers happy. Will never buy anything from this shop or this lady!!!

Limited, very limited options for man clothes. RL or Hugo Boss, is a small corner section and prices go from 85$ to 160$. Did not buy anything in the end. Hyped and overprices place!

DFS (Duty Free Shoppers) located in Garapan, Saipan. This is a name brand department store specializing in name brand products. Such as Coach, Tag, Cartier, Prada, Tiffany, Chanel, etc. Also DFS is attached to the Hard Rock Café, on the second floor. Shop and eat.
Furthermore, DFS is located across the Joeten Shopping Center which also features numerous stores as well, I.e. ABC, and Athletes Foot just to name few. It is also on the main road towards the American Memorial Park and the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
So if you’re looking for an expensive gift for that special person this is the place.
Note: If you are traveling on United, Delta, on your way home the Saipan International Airport has smaller version of DFS.

A rather small one at that but an easy way to pass time if it's too hot outside. Lots of tourists and within walking distance to the beach.

The T Galleria Saipan by DFS is adjacent to the Best Sunshine Live casino. It is a quite large shopping complex. Available are a large amount of souvenirs, alcohol, clothing, shoes, accessories and cosmetics in a variety of high-class brands including Cartier, Chanel, Coach, Estée Lauder, Gucci, Hermès, Kate Spade, M.A.C, Swarovski and Tiffany & Co. plus many more.
I really enjoyed looking at all of the items on offer. Looking is all I did, as I couldn’t even afford to touch, let alone buy, anything.

Visited soon after major typhoon and it was as if nothing had happened. This gallery has everything from five and dime category wares to Prado and Louis Vuitton . Wasn't looking for anything in particular but thought I d pick up something to show for my trip. When I saw the prices at Prado and LV started at $1800.00 I decided the five and dime stores were more to my liking. If I bought something that expensive I'd be afraid to use it on the street. If I didn't scratch it or get it messed up on some way my mother would reach out of her grave and across the ocean yo smack me. Nice place to visit but not long.

Having an air conditioned mini sized shopping complex in an ever humid environment in Saipan is a brief respite . But if it entails anything luxurious, then that can be a clincher . Many special brands to choose from , even including Louis Vuitton and Gucci among others. Even though their Guam neighbour has more extensive variety , it is still special considering what the island has to offer in a very laid back set up. Don’t let the boring underachieving design outside deceive you . It is much better inside . Limited restaurants though . Only Hard Rock is noticeable.

We never took the shuttle while there. We had rental cars so I am not sure. But your hotel concierge should be able to help with that.

Oh sorry for the delay in response to your question. Cannot remember if there was an actual store set aside but there was a store that was selling the Honolulu cookies and various chocolate offerings.

How do the prices of luxury items (Louis Vuitton and Chanel) compare between Saipan, mainland US, and Korea?
Can American citizens also get duty free here?
