It's our privilege to guide you on the West Coast's largest and less crowded glacier. It is one of New Zealand's truly natural wonders.

Whether you are walking, heli-hiking or ice-climbing with us in this incredible environment, we can promise you a memory you'll cherish.

We have a long guiding history on the glacier (guided walks first started in 1928). Those years of accumulated knowledge and experience mean weare able to guide you with complete confidence.

You can rest assured we take your safety and comfort very seriously.

Come and enjoy our friendly West Coast hospitality, experience the mighty Fox Glacier with us and create a lifetime memory. We have glacier trips suitable for most fitness levels and ages including children from 9 yrs. Our informative Glacier Terminal Face walk is suitable for children from 5 yrs or for those who would find the walks onto the glacier too strenuous.

Highly recommend the 1/2 day excursion - we felt totally safe and organized during this first time experience. Our guide, Phillip, was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to give us a memorable hike around the glacier.

Had limited time and budget but found the two hour Terminal Face walk a perfect experience that met both of our requirements. Even though you can technically walk the Fox Glacier Trails without guides, we found that the added insight and experience that Malcolm and Tuk brought along well worth the money. They also took us on a little extra... More

My wife and I felt that this attraction is the best in our NZ trip. The trip went very smoothly, everything was provided for. Guides are very friendly and professional, and gave clear instructions. The helicopter ride to the glacier was our first time and we are amazed. The 3 hours hike on the glacier with the spikes is an... More

Where can I start... we had the most excellent time yesterday. When we arrived in Glacier Country it was very awkward for me. I've never experienced temperate glaciers being a little above sea level. All glaciers I've seen in my life have been above 3000-4000 metres so to see tropical ferns so close to glaciers was quite special in itself.... More

Got rebooked twice due to weather. Ended up with a gorgeous morning. Staff made rebooking a very simple process. Glacier guide was awesome. Had a wonderful time. Views were spectacular.

We did the heli-hike on 15th October & got a beautiful sunny day for it so there was no danger of not being able to fly. From start to finish everyone from Fox Glacier Guiding were both extremely professional & lots of fun to be with. We had Blake & Sky as our guides and both were informative when taking... More

We took the Fox terminal face walk on 17 October. Sarah was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and good company on the walk. Her historical perspective made it all the more interesting once we could see where tourists accessed the glacier surface back in the 1930's, and where only a few years ago guides could take tourists onto the glacier. Once she heard... More

We did the Fox Glacier guided trip on the 13/10/16 what a fantastic experience! We were very fortunate to be the only two on the 4.50 and had Tuk & Larn as our guides it was like having a private guide each. As I have some issues with one foot Larn was on hand the whole time to ensure I... More

We took the Flying Fox helihike at $425 per person. As the weather forecast was rain, we were told upfront that we would get a full refund if the flight is cancelled, 60% if we were flown there but not allowed to hike and 30% if the hike was less than an hour. Thankfully we had weather good enough to... More
