My partner and I took part in a heli hike. It was a great experience walking on the glacier. The team of Fox Glacier Guiding has the trip extemely well structured and organized. Especially getting everybody the equipment (jackets, shoes) needed and how to board the heli was very disciplined. I personally cannot wear leather or wool and my up-front... More

What an awesome day! Booked the 10.50am flying Fox heli hike and luckily got a beautiful day for it. Having never been in a helicopter before we thought the flights were fantastic, and such beautiful scenery! On the Glacier were spilt into 3 groups of around 10 people with 2 guides. Our guides, Philly and Lisa, were great. They made... More

We have been in snow before but glacier is totally different experience. Tough we couldn't take the guided tour but still enjoyed from very close distance. The weather was bit cloudy but the place itself it so beautiful to enjoy. if anyone is planning to take guided tour try to book early as possible. otherwise you might miss the true beauty.

I had some reservations about this activity due to cost, but it was well-worth my money and the time. In addition to covering gear rental, you get a cool - although short - flight up to the Glacier. You cannot walk onto the Glacier, so the helicopter is your only real option. All told, I spent about two hours on... More

We went Heli-Ice climbing on the Fox Glacier. Sam and Larn were spectacular guides. The trip had four guest, myself, my daughter and a lovely young couple from the UK. Sam and Larn were patient and worked to make sure that everyone had a good time. They continued to set up harder and harder climbs to challenge the group. They... More

We had originally booked the Brown Fox overnight heli-trek, but the overnight was cancelled due to weather. However, our guides, Martin and Ian, were great and worked with us to pack almost everything we would have done in two days into one! They were super flexible and recommended a slightly higher drop off in the helicopter to ensure we got... More

My partner and I had booked a full day heli iceclimb but were stuck down withhold poisoning. The wonderful lady at the front desk did her best to find us an activity for another day then assisted us in recieving a full refund for the day. I couldn't be more pleased with how we were treated and will be coming... More
