The Fox Glacier Heli Hike was the highlight of our holiday in New Zealand. Walking up and down ice steps, into ice caves and crevasses felt surreal. I was initially concerned that I would slip over, but quickly got used to the crampons attached to...More

Pros : Very nice, patience, informative Guide who speaks Chinese & English intermittently to accommodate us and the other Chinese couple. Cons : A little pricey. Not-so-friendly ladies at counter. There're 22 people listening to briefing at FG Guilding Building - crowded & too noisy....More

I'd just like to thank the Fox Glacier staff who were all so friendly. You're a big operation, I would've spoken to at least 10 staff, and everyone were great to deal with. The Glacier itself is natural beauty at its best. Highly recommend.

I wanted to start my review with my one disappointment of this experience. I was hoping for a proper half day trek around the ice but instead we didn't really walk too far and stopped every five minutes for everyone to take like a twenty...More
