Hi there, Thanks for your question. Our Heli Hike operating area is only 800 metres above sea level so we don't get much snow here as a general rule. Late October is springtime so very rare but not out of the question... More

There is about 2.5 - 3 hours of walking, but in my mind it was relatively easy walking. They will give you leather boots and thick socks that are comfortable and good for the hike--I brought my own, but elected to use... More
