Lovely views of the mountains around the lake. Good walking paths with some incline portions. Did not manage to see the reflections of the mountains but it's a great way to spend an hour walking and taking great pictures.
It could have been a very nice place for walk and photos but our visit was too late, by the time we reach there is rather dark so could not take a good photo. Come in the morning of afternoon for stunning picture.
An easy walk with the best views of the mountains and if you are lucky to get a still day the reflective views. Says takes an hour and a half but we spent so much time just stopping and admiring the views we took 2...More

Follow the signs to Lake Matheson and take the short walk to the lake viewing platform. A sight not to be missed. Best time would be in morning light but I am sure good photos could be taken at anytime.
