Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A well sign-posted track that is fairly easy to navigate. There are some steep areas, so descending wasn't particularly fun - but the views up the top are sensational! I would say the track is moderately difficult, but we managed okay with average fitness. There aren't too many shaded areas, so water and sunscreen is a must. There is also no toilet nearby, so make sure you start on empty.

This is a well formed track that loops around and over the peninsula with magnificent views of Lake Benmore and the Benmore Dam. Take the camera for some stunning shots. You need a good pair of walking shoes and have a reasonable level of fitness as the track is steep in places. I'm an oldie and I did it in an hour (the sign say's hour and a half) but my knees were complaining before I got back. The colour of Lake Benmore has to be seen to be believed, especially from the top of this track.
