It it AWESOME!! The open view is fantastic to see the Mackenzie mountains. We went there just before sunset time so saw the pink color sky and full moon rise up. After two days hike in Mt Cook, it is the best reward! The set...More

We stopped at Omarama for a night and this hot tub was already in our plan. So we book at around 5.30pm, each session is about 1.5 hours excluding bathing time. Upon arrival, the friendly staff will ask whether you bring your own towel &...More

Found the staff very welcoming and helpful. We felt we were the only people at the Hot tubs as we had our own tub and changing rooms. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of cold water to drink as we relaxed in the tubs. By night we could...More

We had a hot tub for two, as a gift from some friends. The whole area is really well done up. The hot tubs are all very private, so naked hot tubbing is all good. You have complete control over the heat if the tub,...More

We were staying the night in Omarama after driving from Te Anau and had pre booked a pool for a 5pm dip. This is the second time we've been to the tubs and my first recommendation is to book in advance - that way you...More

We're thinking of going to Omarama for a day trip from Queenstown in early January (as in Jan 2). Apart from the glider plane, we were thinking of doing the hot tub ---is this a good idea to do in the summer? I kept reading how the experience is enhanced at night while star-gazing. If I were going in the summer, I can imagine the stars don't come out til 9pm.......what to do in Omarama til then? Or should I just do this in the afternoon and drive back to Queenstown in the evening?
