Marty is a great raft guide with a sense of humor and on the top of things making this experience incredibly adventurous. Super rafting, crystal clear water, nature around with plenty of given description and stories by Marty. We had the best rafting day we could possibly pray for, rapids were good enough to keep is alert and free floating in the Buller river was the top! Great coffees and cookies at the end to keep us warm :) Thank you and we would def recommend this rafting trip!

This was a great experience for our family and although the river was low there were enough thrills for the whole family. We felt safe in Marty's competent hand and he has a lovely relaxed vibe that made everyone comfortable. I'd highly recommend this business as they take a lot of pride in their work and making sure everyone has an awesome adventure.

What a fun day! Bruce and James were wonderful, so friendly and it felt like you were going rafting with friends. Bruce gave us a really good run down of everything before getting to the rapids which made us feel confident and safe. The rapids themselves were the perfect force for us as we are beginners. We got to do a little swim and jump off a clif which was an added bonus as well as nice tea, coffee and cookies at the end. They also took photos of you while rafting and sent them to us for free which is so rare in any tourist activities. We couldn’t recommend them enough and we had an absolute blast!

Marty and James were grear guides. Their instructions were easy to follow and we had a blast for the whole 2.5 hours on the water

They even take very nice pictures and offer coffee tea and biscuits at the end, all free of charge. Would highly recommend anyone wanting to rafting down the Buller to use them.

Lovely morning on the river with Marty as our raft guide! He was really good at making sure we hit the best part of each rapid. Good guy, too, and made everyone feel welcome and safe. Kathy, Marty's partner, was fantastic with taking photos and making sure there was hot coffee/tea at the end.

All of the rafting equipment, including wetsuits, drysuits, booties, were all top flight.

This is a real family-owned business and we were happy to support them. Would surely use them again and recommend them to others!

Bruce is a whitewater legend, he made sure the team of 8 all had the best experience possible. Fun, informative, exhilarating, professional and safe. Highly recommend if you want to experience the Buller River at it's best. Be prepared to get wet!

Outstanding Day!! Bruce & Marty really know the river & their mellow professionalism was thoroughly appreciated by us. The weather & conditions gave us grade 3+
rapids & Bruce's solid briefing & calm directions left us confident & able to fully enjoy this exhilarating, scenic stretch of the Buller. As locals, we've wanted to raft the Buller for a long time, happy we did it with you. Thanks fellas.

The raft guides Marty and Bruce are knowlegeable and experienced. They taught us how to raft comfortable and safe. They also encouraged us to have team building rafting. Most rafters jumped from a cliff in a safe environment. Highly recommended for first time rafting. At the end, the lady prepared us coffee, chocolate and biscuits.

Suggestions: alert rafters to bring mosquito repeller, offer videos and a temporary place to get changed.

The scenery was stunning and the rapids were exciting! It was a grade 3, not too scary and lots of fun. Our guide Rita was awesome and we (family of 5) all felt confident and safe in her hands. All the gear was provided, including thermals and full wetsuits which kept us nice and warm. The optional cliff jump and swim were great fun too. Overall a fantastic adventure with local, experienced, and very friendly guides. Thanks!

Great team - pulled together a boat with only 3 of us (normally the minimum is 4). Bruce was a great guide.

The route starts with a couple of smaller rapids then the challenge builds as you go down river….

Exhilarating and great fun - but always felt like we were in safe hands
