All travellers must stop here! It comes up quick on you, it wasn't planned to stop here but what a stop it was! The honey... YUM!

We stopped here for lunch on the way from Warkworth to Auckland and considered buying some Manuka honey for souvenirs. The food (pies/sandwiches) was average. Our main impression was of the unfriendly and unhelpful staff at both the eatery and the honey centre. They didn't...More

We stopped twice at the centre - once travelling north and once again when we travelled south to Auckland. On our second visit we arrived at lunch time and so had lunch there. The food was reasonably priced and we were happy with the service....More

We found the food in the cafe of good quality and reasonably priced. We also bought some items from the shop which were good quality although a bit expensive. Difficult to compare as you always have to pay for quality and we haven’t done extensive...More

We stopped at the Honey Centre not for the honey or things about honey, just for brunch. We chose a couple of filled rolls and a drink each. They looked expensive. But when they arrived, toasted, with the accompanying salad it was value for money,...More

Nice shop with lots of products. From soaps to honey, candles .... I found it very pricey so it could be bit of a tourist trap.

A small outpost where you can learn about NZ Honey. The shop sells all kinds of honey products including Manuka Honey (its said to be more authentic than some other items you can buy in the souvenir shops). The price for their Manuka honey is...More

If you're after any thing to do with honey - this is the place. The array of stock is amazing and you can see bees actually doing their job. I think the prices are good value & the ice cream to die for !!

Just of the main road into Warkworth, they sell manuka honey (local) both for eating and in cosmetics and lotions. Nice display. They also have a coffee shop and they do tours for kids. Nice place.
