The property is huge and there are so many wonderful enclosures along the trail with various types of reptiles. Well worth a visit!

Little gem
Feb 2021
The park is a hidden gem, boasting an enjoyable collection of local and exotic animals. The park has a lovely bushwalk feel and a beautiful outlook to the ocean. Well worth a visit for an hour or two

An experience with a difference

We all enjoyed our afternoon at the Park. The kids spent a lot of time looking around. Well worth a visit and fabulous surroundings. Very interesting.

Surprised and entertained!
Dec 2020
We had very managed expectations going into the park, we assumed there would be a couple of tortoises and some geckos but it was a nice excuse for our daughter to run around.
Instead we got in and found there were lots of creatures to see and a fun layout to follow to explore them all. We loved the different iguanas and best of all the crocodiles.
The keeper, Lily, had lots of local knowledge to share with us and clearly has a love of animals.

A highlight of our Northland trip

A wonderful place to visit for a couple of hours. So many different reptiles. Our 6 year old loved seeing the alligators. Not good for wheelchair or pushchairs.

Surprisingly a great few hours visit!
Oct 2020
We visited - 2 adults and 3 x 15 year old boys with no real expectations of what we would get. It was slightly run down in places but we spent a good couple of hours browsing around and REALLY enjoyed it. The landscaping is nicely done and wandering around from top to bottom was a great morning out. The boys were very enthusiastic and really loved it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and thought it was very reasonably priced.

Worth a visit
Sep 2020
Other reviews have noted that the place is a little run down and needs better signage. That said, we had a very pleasant coouple of hours here looking at the various reptiles on display and walking around the extensive displays.
The young lady at reception was very welcoming and friendly.
It is worth a visit.

Waste of time and money. Old and a bit run down. Would not recommend this. We thought we would try it but we got more value for money from the Leigh Discovery Centre and Brick Bay Sculpture walk.

Plenty of reptiles to see
Feb 2020
Got given a GrabOne voucher as a gift to this place, bigger and had more reptiles than I expected. Was nice to see a tuatara in the flesh and the iguanas are fascinating. The place could do with better signage however, particularly as it is quite a steep site that involves a bit of walking.

Not what we were expecting
Jan 2020
Really intriguing place. Bigger than I expected and with some very interesting animals. It has obviously been around a while and was quite retro but we enjoyed that . Someone must have had a passion to set it up. Highlights for us were the Red Iguana, Alligators, tortoises and I always value the opportunity to see Tuatara.
