It's fun on demand at Rainbow's End so how will you play it? With over 20 rides and attractions, there's something for everyone, every day of the year except Christmas Day.

The brand new ride, Stratosfear, at Rainbow's End is now open. It is seriously scary with a complete 360 degree rotation to challenge even the most seasoned thrill seeking ride enthusiasts. This ride is a first in the Southern Hemisphere, seats 30 people and with the complete 360 it's one of only 4 worldwide!

Spin vertically and horizontally, suspended 18m high on the Power Surge, be trapped in a runaway mine cart, or Fear Fall 18 storeys at 82km/hr! Defy gravity on New Zealand's only corkscrew roller coaster or ride the Log Flume with its dramatic water chute plunge.

The brand new Kidz Kingdom is also now open at Rainbow's End! The ultimate place to visit for children 8 years and under and the best birthday venue ever!

With Magic and Illusion shows from Andre Vegas on weekends and school holidays, it's definitely a full day of entertainment for everyone at Rainbow's End!

Open Daily 10am - 5pm, only closed Christmas Day.

Rainbow's End is the best place for weekend fun, kids birthday parties and spending some fun time with your family and friends! You deserve it! You pay one entry price which covers all your rides as many times as you like! If you work that out per ride it is really amazing value for the best day out. Only 20 mins from the CBD we are conveniently located with loads of free parking. See you soon at Rainbow's End!

We went just after the Easter weekend and it was really quiet - not a single queue! We went first thing in the morning and didn't leave until it closed. Great day out for the family no matter what age and level of 'fear factor'. I would definitely go there again.

Great for young families and an occasional visit for locals. If you've experienced overseas parks then you might be underwhelmed, my young son thought there would be more rides but he's been to the Gold Coast! Pros are the lines are short so that's a positive. More rides and activities would be a plus.

Always a fun place to visit but a bit small if you compare it to the Gold Coast or Los Angeles adventure parks. They could really use another couple of roller coasters but, that aside, the art work inside the log ride will leave all the log rides on the Gold Coast for dead. And The Stratosfear, although based on... More

If you're here in New Zealand, searching for a family-friendly thrill activity, definitely go to Rainbows End. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and go to all lengths to satisfy our visit. The Kids Kingdom is a great sheltered place for kids and they have such a blast. For New Zealand, this attraction is quality.

I went to this theme park with my friends for a birthday. My favourite ride by far was definitely the stratosphere extreme. There are many rides for adults as well as kids. The cafe in the Kids Kingdom was horrible, however. Definitely don't order the sausages. They made one of my friends vomit. I didn't change the rating by this,... More

This is a good theme park for a once in a while going to buy gets boring after a while, some rides are super fun but others aren't up to standard anymore The good thing is that there is 2 sections in rainbows end, kids kingdom for the children and then the actual theme park for teens and adults This... This is a small to mid size theme park which has a few thrill seeking rides on offer. The main rollercoaster has a few loops but is a very short track. The giant drop as I call it is not to high, but high enough for a thrill. There are several other attractions in the park including a water boat/... More

The last time I came was in the early 2000's and I wasn't impressed, but wow they've really turned this place around! The rides have been refurbished and upgraded, there's new rides galore and the kids area is simply amazing. Highly recommended if you're keen for a fun day out with the whanau.

Fantastic fun at Rainbows End and the kids will love you for it!! Grab a day pass and go on whatever you want! Love the Roller Coaster and some of the rides will have you screaming to your toes with fear ha ha ha, but in a good way! The Log Flume is always good fun (without the fear factor,lol..until... On several occasions we took our grandkids (10 and 12) and also our nieces (4 and 6). This was a great place to take the kids. The small kids loved the kids only area and the bigger more adventurous kids really liked the 'big' rides. Expect to spend around $300 for the day with two kids.
