It's fun on demand at Rainbow's End so how will you play it? With over 20 rides and attractions, there's something for everyone, every day of the year except Christmas Day.

The brand new ride, Stratosfear, at Rainbow's End is now open. It is seriously scary with a complete 360 degree rotation to challenge even the most seasoned thrill seeking ride enthusiasts. This ride is a first in the Southern Hemisphere, seats 30 people and with the complete 360 it's one of only 4 worldwide!

Spin vertically and horizontally, suspended 18m high on the Power Surge, be trapped in a runaway mine cart, or Fear Fall 18 storeys at 82km/hr! Defy gravity on New Zealand's only corkscrew roller coaster or ride the Log Flume with its dramatic water chute plunge.

The brand new Kidz Kingdom is also now open at Rainbow's End! The ultimate place to visit for children 8 years and under and the best birthday venue ever!

With Magic and Illusion shows from Andre Vegas on weekends and school holidays, it's definitely a full day of entertainment for everyone at Rainbow's End!

Open Daily 10am - 5pm, only closed Christmas Day.

Rainbow's End is the best place for weekend fun, kids birthday parties and spending some fun time with your family and friends! You deserve it! You pay one entry price which covers all your rides as many times as you like! If you work that out per ride it is really amazing value for the best day out. Only 20 mins from the CBD we are conveniently located with loads of free parking. See you soon at Rainbow's End!

Well, it’s the best New Zealand has to offer. And, it is a lot of fun. This place is always kept clean and tidy, the entrance and gardens are also in top condition, which is a wonderful welcome. There are rides suitable for all the family, Which, makes this the perfect day out. We go here about 3 times a... More

I really liked this theme park. The Corkscrew roller coaster is very fun and so is the Log Flume and the Gold Rush. On the Power Surge and Invader, though both broke down on e same day, both while I was on them. Overall though, very fun theme park and a great place for thrill seekers.

All the rides were absolutely amazing, my favourite were the corkscrew roller coaster and the invader, both made we really excited. Second time I visited, the fearfall was open, and it was crazy! Went on it loads of times.

Good day had at Rainbows End. The rides have good variety and the big five are great. The 360deg stratotfear made me see white and I thought I would pass out. Awesome.

Given its New Zealand's only major theme park, by default it is also the best. While it isn't nearly as good as its international counterparts and feels quite dated in parts, it is also the only theme park option which makes it worth doing. On the plus side, the queues are fairly short and there are a selection of rides... More

Excellent rides (Invaders, Stratosfear, Fearfall, Pirate Ship, Scorpion Karts)... Fun-filled entertainment shows (J-Geeks, Crayola) & Good food - especially NZ ice-cream !! Waits were not long - virtually non-existent & despite the rain.. the atmosphere was fun !!! Would strongly recommend if you have a day to indulge with kids

You can never get the boy out of the man. Adrenalin city. Awesome rides and plenty of attractions to take in. A great family place that you can cruise around and do all the rides at your own pace. Rainbows end caters for all very very well. A good day or half day trip.

It cost us $192 for a family pass but it was well worth it with our 5 and 6 year old children. We spent a long time in the kids kingdom and the rides were cool given adults could ride them too (ha ha). Good space for adults to sit and have a well earned coffee while the kids played... More
