Absolute highlight - we were buzzing for days. From the great commentary, amazing lunch spot for beautiful beach swim and BBQ lunch on picnic blankets taking in the view, with a selection of meats and salads - I particularly loved the pasta salad. The dune boarding was very cool and Paul rode down beside us capturing the moment on our phone - now that's skill hands free boarding! The ride along the beach was unexpected... we assumed it would be a straight line, but our skilled guide navigated the drive and you end up zooming, slowing down, weaving left and right - was great. There's also a live screen so you get a drivers seat view of the action! Originally we had debated self drive of Cape Reigna or doing a tour - so glad we booked this tour - you get to experience so much more of 90 mile beach, and learn so much along the way, the beach stop for lunch was the most beautiful clear fresh water, and so much more! We got picked up at the first coffee stop as we were staying closer to that than the doubtless bay, super easy. Both the lady we booked with, our guide and driver we super friendly and professional. Can't recommend this tour highly enough!

Ka pai to Buzz for giving us an awesome experience up to Cape Reinga & the surrounding area. I was sort of dreading the long day, but it's broken up in pieces that you forget the time. Buzz was so full of local knowledge, sharing everything he knows from farming, history, entertainment and everything in between. One of the best tour driver / guides I've had. I appreciated his easy manner and I learnt so much. Cape Reinga was Wow. It's downhill on the way to the light house which means uphill on the way up. Not great for these arthritic knees but so worth it. We really enjoyed the sand boarding too. Our 5 year old rocked it! Best part of her day apparently. Lunch was a BBQ which I was not expecting, but loved having a picnic at the beach! I loved that they used a local family to cater for them. Really showing how this company supports the community. There were other companies at the Sand Dunes, but we stayed longer and was more organised. Buzz really explained how things should work etc, whereas the other companies were free-for-all really. 5* experience for sure!! There were other tour groups around the same time as us. They had less time at the

What an excellent experience. Driving along Ninety Mile beach, ‘dune boarding’ and the view at Cape Reinga all stand outs of a thoroughly enjoyable day. Shout out to Buzz our guide - full of fun facts, regional current affairs and Maori mythology. This trip is really a must do if you’re visiting the Far North.

What an awesome experience! Learnt heaps about Northland, enjoyed every stop off. The body boarding was fun as and Cape Reinga was breath taking. Hoonung down 90 mile Beach was a unique activity too. What made it for me was the guide, he was very knowledgeable of all the areas and clearly loved his wider community. He also had great maori/tikanga knowledge, respect. Thanks for an awesome day!
