Beautiful Beach

Lovely walk, we walked up on to the headland as well, lovely views from there too. Warm water, clean beach.

Hahei has a nice beach, but it is the same as all the other nice beaches in the Coromandel! When we visited it was very busy and hard to get parked. We'd only return during the low season or early/late in the day to try and avoid the crowds.

This beach was so beautiful and the walk was perfect. Easy enough for kids but enough challenges to keep you engaged.

We called in here after being at Cathedral Cove and nearly didn't take the walk along the beach as it was late afternoon and the tide was coming in. With hubbys persuasion we did it and it was so worth the effort. Just a short stroll to see something different. There were still quite a few people on the beach... More

This is a stunning beach and a lovely place to sit and relax. Get there early, as the beach becomes very full and you may have difficulty finding somewhere to sit,

Very popular place. As soon as the tide is out lots of people are digging in the beach for making their own hot water pool.

a beautiful calm beach, great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Hot water beach around the corner, this is a locals playground so there are tractors which bring down boats and jet skis to access the water, but they are careful and tend to stick close to the estuaries. The beach is quite a large area so it really isn't a... More
