This would be my number 1 recommendation on the east of the Coromandel. I had been to Cathedral Cove before, but approaching it on the sea was really something special! Our guide, Chris, was really informative and added lots of interesting information along the way....More

Had a fun afternoon kayaking off Hahei beach, round to Cathedral Cove. Our guide, Mikey, was excellent and the kayaks are very stable and easy even for novices to paddle. The coastline is very beautiful, with the main attraction, Cathedral Cove, being particularly impressive. Make...More

We were excited to hear that the morning Kayak tour was available on Christmas. Ashton was our guide and we had a really nice time. Our concern was driving from Auckland and arriving by 8:45 but it wasn't that bad. We left around 6 and...More

Wow! I took my family here for our holiday in the afternoon and met on Hahei Beach. My husband and I never go near water so we were out of our comfort zone. My 2 boys aged 13 & 15 were experienced. It cost us...More

This is a unique and flat out amazing way to get to catherdral cove. Our guide was hilarious and made hot drinks for us right there on the beach (like a togo barista!) Our experience was amazing, don't miss out on this!

I went on this with my husband and two teen sons reluctantly, as I'm not an experienced kayaker, but I loved it all! Khan, our guide, was informative, friendly, and very safety conscious. The scenery was spectacular, and it was not too strenuous. I'm so...More

Marky did a wonderful job of guiding our group of 9 in the sea kayaks this morning. Totally organised from woe to go. Very professionally run. Everybody loved the coffees on the beach. Thanks so much.

I have never gone kayaking before. So I was wondering how physically strenuous it was, and whether you would recommend it to kayaking newcomers?
