Fabulous exhilarating trip. Lasted one hour and that hour will last a lifetime of memories. We just didn't want it to stop. We were lucky with the weather and lucky with the sights ~ excellent value for money in our opinion
We were really impressed with the warm welcome, the standard of service, the information and geological and marine knowledge of our Captain (Michael). We went at high tide on a calm day so that we could see all the caves and the blowhole. Even though...More
Amazing Experience!! This was more than we could have hoped for! Host and Tour guide (Michael) were outstanding. Knowledge of the area and history were exceptional - saw things that you just would not see if you walked to Cathedral Cove.
The day we went out was pretty choppy and drizzly but we had an absolute blast! We really had to hold on but it was worth the effort . Our guide took us into nooks and crannies that we would never have seen on foot....More
The boat trip takes you along the coast and around the islands and past Cathedral Cove. It can be chilly out on the water so take a jacket. Our guide/driver was very informative and happy to answer our questions. The hour just flew by. Would...More

Thanks for the great review Pata! We were happy you could come out on the boat with us. Those fur seals are a special treat for our passengers in the winter months - The Hahei Explorer Team
Great tour, friendly staff, exact on time, swift handling, safety first attitude, informative, perfect boat handling, environmental friendly concept, and a lot of very interesting things to see that only can be reached by boat. I would say that this is a must if you're...More

The boat tour stops at each point of interest so it will be calm at each spot. As our boat is an open top boat which is great for photography as other tour boats are enclosed. Depending on wind strength there may be a little bit of spray but this is only when we are moving from place to place and we provide you with waterproof bags for your camera gear. Hope this helps.
