Fabulous Tour Operator Fabulous exhilarating trip. Lasted one hour and that hour will last a lifetime of memories. We just didn't want it to stop. We were lucky with the weather and lucky with the sights ~ excellent value for money in our opinion

We were really impressed with the warm welcome, the standard of service, the information and geological and marine knowledge of our Captain (Michael). We went at high tide on a calm day so that we could see all the caves and the blowhole. Even though...More

Highly recommend taking a trip on Hahei Explorer. We thoroughly enjoyed the sights, informative commentary and the boat trip itself. One of the highlights of our trip to NZ.

Amazing Experience!! This was more than we could have hoped for! Host and Tour guide (Michael) were outstanding. Knowledge of the area and history were exceptional - saw things that you just would not see if you walked to Cathedral Cove.

We really enjoyed our tour and even though we didn't get to see any whales, dolphins and other exotic animals we did spot some beautiful birds and lazy seals. Must do when visiting north island.

We were short of time and wanted to optimize it. Came across the Hahei explorer and decided to take it. In hindsight...perfect decision. We were lucky to have clear blue skies and the zodiac was just right for the six passengers. We get up close...More

Hi Belinda. The boat tour stops at each point of interest so it will be calm at each spot. As our boat is an open top boat which is great for photography as other tour boats are enclosed. Depending on wind strength there may... More
