We were there early in the morning and in the winter so very few people there and it was a beautiful day. Beautiful clear water. A must do but can see it being very over crowed.

The walk to Cathedral Cove is absolutely stunning! There are beautiful views around every corner, and the Cove itself is beyond worth the walk!

After wanting to do this walk for over 10 years, I finally convinced the partner to do it. Walking down into the cove revealed amazing views of the ocean, surrounding islands and native bush land which built the suspense.. on arrival I was pleasantly surprised...More

Although it’s a nice walk with great views it’s not that special. Don’t expect something spectacular, the “cathedral” is only a small rock. Kids were not excited at all.

Absolutely stunning hike, took roughly an hour or so each way with a mixture of up hill and down hill. The views were amazing and the beach was small and secluded but quite busy. We went at about 4pm and was still busy. Was quite...More

The Cathedral Cover Walk is worth the effort it takes to get there. Lots of steps near the end. The water was so blue and crystal clear. We did the walk on our own. Highly recommended.

Hi. From the Hahei carpark it's about 45 minute walk one way. Alternatively you can park closer to the start of the walk. Some locals charge $10 to park on their property. From there it's a 30 minute walk. Enjoy!

We rented a car and drove to all our destinations. We are used to going it on our own. But there are shuttles that will take you. Just ask your concierge desk.
