A great day out with the kids. The kids love the mine, the day we went the tram had an electrical fault - but it’s a great trip when it runs. My favourite is the cottages and house through time. Free entry, modest cash charge...More

A well presented museum spread over a large area. The workers cottages are worth a visit and you need to allow plenty of time to see the videos inside the impressive building in order to fully appreciate the exhibits. The café was very reasonable.
