This is a really neat spot, definitely off the beaten path. You can arrange a tour at the TI office near the Hotel Jardins at the end of the bridge.

You have to make arrangements to get in to the mikveh - it is behind locked doors. Once you get in, it is a stone room with wonderful acoustics, and the parts of the mikveh are in excellent shape and clearly defined. We saw it...More

The mikveh (miqve in Catalan) is an interesting medieval Jewish ritual bath in very good condition; it was practically untouched and unseen for centuries as it had been buried and built over, and was only rediscovered in the 20th century. It is one of the...More

This was such a unique opportunity being able to see this centuries old artifact. There are so few of these still in existence. Despite how old it is, it was only found in the last 50 years so its in very good condition. You have...More

We paid the few euros and had basically a private tour (get tickets at the visitor's center before the bridge). It was like stepping back into time.

This is a pretty small town with middle ages streets, bridge, tower, houses and church. The most fascinating spot however is the Jewish purification ceremonial bath (mikvah). In contrast to the synagogue on top of it, the bath, which was built below is very well...More

This was one of our most moving experiences in Spain. To visit a mikveh that hasn't been used in over 600 years but is still in perfect condition was very special.

It would have been nice if it were open. There were a couple of tours, but we were too late for that, and I'd have like to have been able to go in regardless.
