We loved Playa Aiguablava. Very kid friendly. Wonderful sand beach. It was crowded, but we found a spot. Bring umbrella as it gets hot! We swam all day and didn’t want to leave. Clear, clean water. A number of places to eat. 2 of the...More

Definitely one of my favorite places on Costa Brava. Aiguablava is a small bay beach surrounded by green mountains. Because of the mountains, the sea is always calm and waveless. There are several water activities that you can do other than swimming and tanning; you...More

We thought this beach was gorgeous but it was nearly impossible to find a place to park. Get there EARLY if you plan to go during busy season.

Pretty beach. Gets really busy, quite early. Parking €3 per hour. Fine sand. Very popular with young families as compact. Be careful with restaurants (Les Acacies not good)

It’s a very nice beach but it gets really crowded so you need to get there early in the morning. It has sand and it’s not getting deep suddenly. There is a parking place for only 3 euros per day, but it’s getting full quickly...More

This is a small beach and should be avoided especially on Saturday afternoons in July unless crowds are your thing. The parking was totally full even late in the afternoon and when seeing the crowds on the beach, our 9-year-old acutely described it as a...More

The beach have some restaurants where you will find bathrooms. The restaurants are beside the beach, so, you won't have problems to reach them.
