As much as seeing the Neolithic and Palaeolithic paintings were the highlight, this tour included so much more. The caves were just stunning. The guide explained everything in Spanish and English which was unexpected but much appreciated. Will be a highlight of our trip. Had...More

Very nice cave to visit - no touristy frills such as coloured lights … just the beautiful and breathtaking caves themselves. The tour took over an hour. Amazing place.

As other reviewers have stated, touring Cueva de la Pileta is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Reservations are only taken by phone. Call for a reservation at least a day ahead so you won't be disappointed. Best to call for a reservation before or after tour time....More

I reserved for the last tour on the day that I went, and it turned out I was the only one reserved for that tour. The tour guide nonetheless was fantastic - she was very knowledgable about the cave, answered questions, and did the tour...More

Need to be reasonably fit as a steep climb to the cave, but the cave paintings 25000 years old worth the climb.

Our guide was excellent. It was clear that he knew a lot about the history of the cave and was up to date on the latest research about the paintings. I've seen lots of pictographs in the American Southwest some over 4,000 years old but...More

If you type in Pileta cave tours on Google you will find the Pileta cave site heading the page and this gives opening times (open all year round and weekends) and advice on how to get there (by train then walk)
