About
The Ethnographic Museum "Su magasinu de su binu" is housed in a typical warehouse with adjoining courtyard portico (lolla). The museum's exhibition shows the tools used in the past for the development of various trades. The sections of the exhibition are various : from the steps of bread-making process to those of viticulture and winemaking, until the more traditional craftmanship such as cooper.

excellent value and interesting

Only 6€ for museum, hypogeum village (which was fascinating) and the fort - most places are more for just 1 attraction. Emmanuel our guide was very friendly and spoke pretty good English (far better then our Italian) so we understood everything. Definitely would recommend a visit

Very interesting, volunteer run

One ticket covers the museum, the Ipogean Village (caves used as Punic burial grounds and later living quarters) and the fort, and a guide with adequate English. A remarkable collection and beautifully maintained sites, all the more remarkable as they are volunteer run. Three very different sites, all very interesting. Visiting all three takes under an hour.

A ticket from this museum also covers the Ipogean Village and ort Sui Pisu so is good enough value at 6 Euros (2017). There are two ladies, neither of whom speak English to guide you, one is fine the other is grumpy. The museum itself is what we would call a cultural museum in England, it has tools and furniture and examples of local traditional crafts. Interesting but you have to interpret it yourself unless your Italian is a lot better than mine.

Fascinating insight into local farming way of life

This is quite a compact small museum but with an excellent audio guide available in English which brings it to life. There are lots of rural artifacts showing traditional crafts and the guide is really helpful.

The ticket also gives you a guided tour of the cave dwellings and fort nearby.
