Walking in this park in the fall was simply lovely. Not far from the river and a good place, it looks like, to lay out and read when it's warmer.

There are 4 gateway entries to the 5-acre John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, marked by pairs of tall granite columns. The granite fountain in the center & the entrance pillars are inscribed with memorable quotations from President Kennedy's speeches. Open greenspace & paths are brilliant...More

A pretty place to walk alongside the Charles river. Lots of painters/ artists sketching the views across the park and river. Various places to stop and sit on a bench to admire the view.

It is very charming and calm place to sit in the middle of Harvard Square! In the summer it is specially great because you can sit in the sun and appreciate the quiet space around a busy area.

Go here on a Sunday during the summer, since Memorial Drive is closed for cars on that day, from April until October. Because the only downside to this small and nice little park, is the noise and pollution from the car traffic nearby.

Just a couple of blocks away from the Harvard Square scene, Kennedy park has a great view of the Charles River. Bring your book, food or just relax, it is large enough to get away from any crowds that may intrude in your space. In...More
