Really fantastic museum. It has something for everyone: from the history of computing, to an awesome display of kinetic art. A few times a year they have great talk series on cutting edge scientific issues and developments, with some of the top thinkers and experimenters...More

I always go into these kinds of museums with low expectations, but this one was fantastic. This wasn't just "good for a small museum", it was genuinely fantastic. I was thrilled by the variety in exhibits, and the level of detail that each exhibit went...More

I enjoyed the mechanical devices exhibition the most, also the vehicles at the first floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Judging from earlier reviews, the museum had interesting areas on robotics. We went there yesterday and there was a photo gallery, an area on ships, a tiny section on the brain and a mildly interesting display of mechanical gears. No robotics. No history of MIT....More

One floor museum but full of interesting MIT creations! 1-2 hours visit will do and you won't regret a single penny from the 10 bucks spend on the ticket!

It's all about technology - from hovercrafts to weird pulleys and cranks and rotating heads! A fun place where physics meets art. There was also a fascinating special exhibit of the hand sketches of the Nobel prize winning Santiago Ramón y Cajal. Wonderful and fascinating.

I went with my 21 year old neuroscience student daughter and we had a great time. We happened to go on a Sunday and were gladly surprised that admission was free. It’s a small museum but you can spend from 30 minutes to 3 hours...More

er engineer to enjoy this. Both exhibit and the otherwise great shop show to me a fairly desperate attempt by engineers to look cool through a naff self-conscious irony. And the problem of course is that even Elon sucks these days! Mathlete humor. I know...More

The MIT museum is a great museum particularly for those with an engineering bent. The displays are kept current and do change from time to time so worth revisiting.

I teach 9th grade physical science/earth science and geometry. This museum is geared for younger students. The hands on activities were fun but again 6th graders would be a more appropriate audience.
