A lovely place for a walk, run or bikeride. The path goes along the river on both sides and is (usually) wide enough for multiple types of two-way traffic.

I would walk and run on this path to see the city. Easy to find. Well lit at night. Lots of people using the path at pretty much all hours, so it feels very safe. And bikers seem to be kind to pedestrians.

You can't beat the view. This is almost reason enough to start jogging. But whether you're walking jogging or biking this is a great location

Despite the cars on the highway, you can hear the birds singing in the trees. It's a lovely path along the river with lots of wild plants and trees. One of the best experiences I've had as an urban bike rider. Much better than the...More

The bike path is beautiful, wonderful views of Boston and very pleasant place. We did it on foot as we didn’t rent a bike... Took longer but worth every minute.

The new path along the Cambridge side of the bike path is wonderful. I run the path at lunch and it's an uplifting workout!

Turns out you can walk or ride from the far end of Boston or Cambridge to Waltham, and that's what we did: walked from Waltham. It's clean and safe the whole way.
