My wife and I visited the Blue Lagoon as part of a Gate1 tour. It is quite remarkable that so many tourists visit a feature which is basically a power plant byproduct. Having had that, it was well organized, efficient and lots of fun. The...More

It was a ok place. It was beautiful but a tourist thing to go where you can't be calm, because there's to much people.

We visited in the evening. Despite cold temperatures the water was amazingly warm, almost too warm at times! After a freak thunderstorm we were given complimentary robes and slippers to wear inside the resort. Face masks were applied from the outdoor beauty bar. Quite expensive...More

A truly fabulous way to finish your busy touring week off around Iceland. We booked the premium package and were not disappointed. We had robes, flip flops and an extra algae face mask. There is a bar for the masks and a mini bar all...More

We loved our time at the Blue Lagoon! It was magical! We had no problem finding our way around...there were plenty of attendants to help. It was a big treat and we all needed a nap that afternoon.....it was so relaxing...and extremely beautiful!

Really marvellous experience, enjoy an outdoor spa in hot thermal waters, while sipping a cool beer with friends. Extremely relaxing. One thing to note, this is a busy place, as its so popular so it might be best to go early or late if you...More

Although it can be considered as a too touristic attraction (no one force you to buy stuff in the shop), it is quite a unique experience (in particular in winter) to be able in the cold weather and snowy landscape to swim (or walk as...More

It depends if you are talking about the buses directly from Blue Lagoon or from other tour operators. Those from Blue Lagoon are flexible timing; those from tour operators are time-specific.
