Amateur Hour. Very disorganized. The organizers get you to pay for vip tickets and don’t really show appreciation when you get there with longer lines than those who didn’t. The drink lines were literally out the door and undermanned. The quality of venders was disappointing.

The Bite of Seattle is am interesting adventure. But what sucks, and I mean REALLY SUCKS is that TRIP Advisor claims that this site is ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW about this event. And then they don't tell you much at all. So this review is primarily about Trip Advisor.
They don't list the prices, do they?
They don't list the times, do they?
And they don't tell you the menu of the meals at the Alley, do they?
All that information can be found on other sites if you search long enough and haven't already wasted your time on this AWFUL site. Tell Trip Advisor where to stick it!
They have wasted my time.

The food was okay, I only liked the Reuben and San Diego style taco, not a scrimp or raw seafood person which my Hawaiian friend wasn't impressed with!!!!! Good selection of ciders, which I loved, beers, and Komachi beverages which my friend liked! Awesome people we met and we saw a cool, long running Jenga game!

Came up to Seattle for the first time with my husband, due to the fact that his sister told him how beautiful it is ! Low an Behold, she was absolutely correct. Not only did I enjoy Seattle itself I also enjoyed the unexpected chance to experience THE BITE OF SEATTTLE. This is where a lot of vendors/cooks come out for everyone to sample an purchase their great unique creations. Not only was the food I sampled were good, also the overall surroundings and energy that was there.
I continued my journey through Seattle, I ran into the best people everywhere I went, from the pizza joints that was near our hotel to the live music area during the day.
Forgot to mention the area I suggest to stay while visiting would be Bellvue. This ended up being the first area to stay once we got in that friday. The next day we decided to stay downtown area. This area would be perfect if you would like go sightseeing and visitng some of the tourist areas. I didnt enjoty downtown comapred to Bellvue area which was a lot cleaner and lots of eateries and shopping.
Overall I would suggest for anyone to go visit seattle!

There is something for everyone at this event. Good music on 4 stages. Lots of different food vendors. Variety of standard fair food and unique restaurant food. Biggest problem is deciding what to eat. Visit mopop while there for a nice addition.

Been going for years and have seen a steady decline over the years, It is sad to see a great food event descending to a avenge festival. Too much of it is just fair food you can get anywhere. Prices of the more unique food items has increased and value decreased. Now you have to search for those unique NW food items. It used to be a place where you could sample many NW restaurants all in one space.

Stop in Seattle on my way to Alaska and went to Bite of Seattle. Among the first stands was the Strawberry Shortcake Stand. Ask if they used any kind of syrup, they said no. Bought one for each person in our group; WE ALL LOVED IT!!!
