Nice historic tower where one can climb to the top, from where the view of the medieval town of Provins is quite interesting. The exterior of the tower is more impressive than its interior, as with most medieval structures.
Well, after my visit to Rouen this small city has buildings of the same historic epoch BUT
The visit is much poorer than the other one
My opinion is that if you go to Rouen you don’t miss anything if you don’t come
There's so much to see in the Provins area but this is still a must visit. I preferred the social history of Les Souterrains de Provins and La Grange aux Dimes. However, the view and hiostory were very good.
Worth a visit (€4+); 30-45 mins enough for a visit to climb to the top, see the town and get down. You can get a day pass to get to a nearby museum and cellars/underground galleries (€12) Not spectacular but interesting..though it was a hot...More
We spent about 45 minutes climbing up the tower and going through the rooms. It is quite interesting seeing the octagonal keep and working through the spiral staircases.
