I was quite surprised to come across this statue while walking the French Quarter. It definitely stands out and worth a pic or two. Just be careful crossing the street :)

The statue is located a few blocks down the waterfront from Jackson Square. If the weather is nice, it is well worth walking down (and also seeing the New Orleans Market while you are down there). Very pretty statue with interesting history.

This is a nice statue to commemorate Joan of Arc in the middle of a crowded street. Like in all cities the nickname of Joannie on a pony.

Its a gold statue of Joan of Arc. It is literally right before you get to the french market. Take out your cell phone and snap away, a great selfie spot...I did it....Happy Travels!!

Found at the end of the French Market the statue although imposing and glittering gold could be missed when walking though. take a minute to find it and a quick stop to review the information available, it only takes 10 minutes.

I have passed the Joan of Arc Statue as well as walked passed it several times. It is kind of hard to see with all the traffic, people and cars each day around it. But it is interesting. Stop and see it, be careful.

We were on Bourbon Street and we went over to see the Joan Of Arc famous statue, and saw that the statue is in a very dangerous position. There are roads on either side of the statue with very little room around the statue to...More
