New Orleans has a nice arts district. This building is very large and had some interesting exhibits but doesn't seem to fully utlize its space.

I am sorry, but one floor with a minimal number of pieces? They have mostly good quality works, but I was just not impressed with the selection or presentation. Sorry, but perhaps they need to re-evaluate their goals and mission?

This place was wonderful to visit but there was not much art to look at. I love the vision of each museum and the creativity the artist has. This building is tall but only covers to floors. This day was barely one.

Free for Louisiana residents on Sundays, this is a special place for the support of the Arts. Wonderful instructors, speaker, workshops, and collections make this a great place to appreciate the art in our lives.

The Contemporary Arts Center focuses on young talent and just walking by the front glass along Camp Street you can view the selected works of Art the curators have displayed. If you love Art, a must stop while you are in New Orleans.

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and
