Winner of red dot architecture design. Building without beams. Good place for photo stop. Best to come when the wind is still as you will get a nice reflection from the lake when you take your photo.

Due to the unforeseen incremental weather, we visited the museum. This is a stop for us to better understand Yilan (宜蘭) and Taiwan history. You may want to stop here to learn the geographical, historical and demographic changes that had occurred in Taiwan. They also...More

The Museum is a normal museum, showing some history, culture of Lanyang. The building architecture is nice and worth to take photo with. Can spend an hour there to understand more about Lanyang and Yilan.

The museum building is an attraction unto itself. It is in stark contrast to the local history and culture of the area which is cleverly displayed on several cantilevered floors. The exhibitions were easily manageable and many are interactive.
