About
This street that connects Seminyak with Kuta isn't just a venue for pulsating nightlife. It's also an excellent spot for some retail therapy, what with its collection of jewelry and clothing shops.

Tourists, Traffic, but a great vibe on the street.
The Street is mostly back to pre-pandemic days although a number of establishments haven't reopened or are scheduled for redevelopment. There is great variety of shops, dining options, spas and tattoo parlors, just about anything that takes one's fancy. Many tourists, happy shopkeepers, great vibe. If only the volume of traffic and motorcyclists flouting the law could be controlled, it would be a more pleasant experience.

Best street shopping to be found. Vendors can be pushy, learn to say no. ATM located here, so if loq on cash, a great time to top up. Pubs are brilliant in this area offering local and western cuisine.

Vibrant but have to suffer the intense traffic
The crowds are back; shops, restaurants, spas, tattoo parlours, etc. all seemingly doling good business. Sections of the footpaths also repaired. New outlets, renovations elsewhere, the Bali Bomb Memorial surrounded by hoarding, I’m advised, undergoing refurbishment and cleaning. With the crows returning, vehicles and motorbikes clog the street, traffic jams frequent, quicker to walk to our destination on occasions. Just roll with the flow and enjoy the experience.

This is another area that seems to be rediscovering its vibrancy post Covid. Many more shops, stalls, dining establishments, tattooists, spas now back in operation than noted during our visit in August 2022. Still some vacant buildings but sure to become occupied if the tourism levels are maintained. Good numbers paying homage at the Monument.

From the Kuta end this is a lively area of Bali in the evening. It's the place with restaurants, bars and clubs.

In the day time it is worth coming to browse at some shops. There are plenty that are aimed at the tourists, you will find a few quirky ones.

You can also walk all the way to Legian.

This is a happening area of town and has something for everyone. We tend to just visit during the daytime when it was quieter and it was better for shopping and finding the bits and pieces you need.

It takes on a different personality in the evening, when it is packed with revellers, enjoying the various bars, clubs, and restaurants.

Some of these are very good, but we prefer to stay nearer to the beach when it is a little bit quieter.

It seems like the busy streets don't sleep, lots of foreign tourists, lots of souvenir sellers, lots of places to hang out with western-Thai cuisine. As for local cuisine, I can only find it in the corner of the art market and the village stalls. It's nice to go for a walk in the afternoon.

You will find plenty of shopping on Legian St , there is plenty of the usual clothes , homewares etc here and then you’ll find something completely out of the ordinary.
Takes a while to explore , allow 2/3 hours.
More and more shops slowly starting to open a long this bust strip.

One of the shopping streets with many shops. The footpaths are narrow, walking is not very comfortable, and there are a lot of people here.
