Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The view of the Sahyadri mountain range was beautiful from the top. Shrivardhan Fort is one of the two hill forts that constitute the Rajmachi fortification. It is located in Rajmachi village which 8.5 km from Lonavala. Amazing techniques, that were used by old timers in construction and using natural resources to there benefit.

There are two forts that constitute Rajmachi fortification, Shrivardhan Fort is one of them, the other is the Manaranjan Fort. Apart from a huge defensive wall that was built to strengthen the place against attack, there is no further construction there. But the uphill view is completely breathtaking and awe inspiring. It is located 9 km from Lonavala at Rajmachi Village in the Sahyadris mountain range, at a height of 900 m above sea level, thus might have used as the watch point for that region. The place is home for many different species of birds because of immense greenery here, and an attractive spot of visit for the tourists and trekkers. The beauty of this place is unmatchable during monsoon when it gets entirely blurry with fog.

Its a really small fort not too far away from Lonavala. I'd say its a watch tower and not a fort really. Anyways, it offers a great vantage point of the surrounding hills and valley. Perfect to come with a group of bikers and do campfire.

One can see some amazing techniques, that were used by old timers in construction and using natural resources to there benefit. God place to hangout with friends after a drive. We cooked a BBQ enroute and was lot of fun.
