Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a pretty spot to visit for a few minutes. The church has a couple of pictures inside where you can see the original building as well as the restorations throughout the years.

There is a fantastic picnic area here as well right across the parking lot. This area has picnic tables and access to the lake front. Highly suggest stopping here for lunch and a dip in Jackson Lake.

If you are traveling the Teton Loop, this is a must see. It is a beautiful church that sits right on the lake. It was also not busy during the middle of the day. Great place to get out and stretch your legs, and there are public restrooms on site.

Would not plan a day around it, but very well worth the stop. More so when you find out that it is dedicated to the victims of 9/11. It is nice to be surrounded by God's beauty of this area with the mountains, rivers, valleys etc.... so it is great that there is a place to reconnect with God in a Chapel setting as well.

We attended Sunday mass at 5:00. It was celebrated by an African priest who gave the most beautiful homily (sermon). Because it is such a small church, congregants were asked to volunteer as readers, Eucharist ministers, etc. This made it extra special and made it feel more like a team effort (I volunteered). The setting is nice and the church is rustic. Please do stop in. Remember, with all Catholic churches, everyone is welcome regardless of faith.

We made it a point to stop by to see the Chapel and it’s stained glass during our 42-mile loop but we’re disappointed to learn that it’s open only for weddings during COVID-19.

My review title pretty much says it all! This is an old but very well maintained little Catholic church right on the shore of Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park which is open during the summer. It is a very short 5-10 minute drive south from the main Jackson Lake Lodge. We visited late in the afternoon on a summer weekday and the front door to the sanctuary was open without any apparent supervision. The church is built solidly all in wood (I guess that explains the odor in the sanctuary?) and has several beautiful stained glass windows. If you are Christian, it is well-suited for a quick stop to pay your respects to The Lord, and thank Him for the beautiful gift of the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole.

We saw this church/chapel while doing the Jenny Lake Loop tour and thought we would stop. It is a wooden, simple, small church/chapel that seemed appropriately built near a serene lake for one to reflect and be grateful to be in beautiful surroundings. It is not your typical Catholic church. It is is not grandiose, it doesn't have any large religious statues, no candles or holy water near the entrance, which made me feel weird. It was simply beautiful.

We took time to count our blessings and express gratitude for the magnificient scenery.
If you find yourself nearby, I would suggest stopping by just to reflect, find peace or just feel quiet.

I was doing a little exploring on my own, late in the day, and came across the chapel. Open at 7pm was a nice surprise. Great setting by the lake. Sitting inside, one is really struck by the beautiful picture window.
I wouldn't make a special journey to see the chapel, but it is worth pulling in if you are passing.
Otherwise, they have mass at 5pm on Sundays.

Just an amazing place for a church service when visiting GTNP. I am sure that there are many locations in this country that have a church in a beautiful rural setting, but with the lakes and Tetons in the background, this was a truly moving place to worship.
