Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am utterly appalled, Olivia Lynch is an after school teacher and guide at the Wild Ferns Nature Program in Prospect Park. She has been parading throughout Brooklyn tearing down posters of innocent children who have been kidnapped. To make things even worst she has been smiling, laughing, and saying F*ck you while doing it!!! I am shocked, saddened, and appalled at the fact that such a hate-filled person is working with our youth. What if a Jewish child comes? Or if she's racist against other minorities as well?! I don't feel safe bringing my family to Prospect Park programs anymore if Olivia represents the way you feel towards minorities and children!

Prospect Park is a 500+ acre public park in Brooklyn. It is near Prospect -Lefferts Garden, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, South Slope, Crown Heights, and Prospect Heights neighborhoods. There are many wonderful places to visit-- a zoo, a botanical garden, a cycling course, and ball fields. It has Immense historical significance. The park is built on the grounds of the Battle for Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War. There is a monument to the courageous men of Maryland who gave their lives to protect the retreating Patriots soldiers as the British routed the Patriot troops. Survivors ended up on British prison ships near the current Navy Yard area. For me, a place of solemn remembrance.

A very large park in the center of Brooklyn with all sorts of attractions including the great Botanical Gardens, a zoo, lots of playing fields, places to hike and picnic. All with the city all around it, and served by the subway. A true gem.

This is Brooklyn's major park. Although lacking the fame and popularity of its Manhattan counterpart, Prospect Park is still a lovely place to escape the urban bust. A stroll by the lake is a leisure pastime in weekends.

There is something for everyone in this expertly designed park. Very happy to see Olmsted’s visionary design is still relevant and respected today!

We stayed just on the south end of the playground (also the soccer fields) and then walked it up to the Army memorial statues one day. It was so nice that I didn't care that the carousel was not open that a couple of other buildings were closed. I could see it had a lot of bicyclists, walkers, stroller parents, etc. What other park has a section where you can light up grills? In the evenings we saw extended families enjoying the sunlight until the last possible moment. The Brooklyn library is at the top and had a stunning exterior. It is safe and wonderful to experience this space in a very densely populated area. Well done! PS we also visited the zoo

A very good-sized park with lots of space to walk around and enjoy. A mixture of meadow and woodland areas and a large lake. There is space set aside for wildlife and more amenity spaces. Cafe and toilets in the park as well as BBQ pits. Very popular park that is easy to access via the metro There is also a weekend market.

What brought us here was the zoo, then walked through this beautiful park to get to Smorgasburg. Walkers, Runners, Bikers, plenty of open areas to play. Well maintained. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

I love that every borough in NYC has their own public park for everyone to enjoy! Prospect Park is spacious with something for everyone - the zoo, library, museums, places for your dog, plenty of room to walk, jog, or have a picnic.
