Numerous shops, restaurants and bars. Nice area to stroll around and do all or nothing at all. Convenient location. Fun.

We really enjoyed City Market. It is an area filled with little shops and restaurants, as well as artists studios and the Prohibition Museum. We went into several of the shops and had dinner at Vinnie Van Go Go's, a great little hole-in-the-wall pizza spot....More

worked well with a scooter, eateries let us charge it while we ate. Sidewalks had dips where water drains from gutters but were manageable. There were too many modern shops I was looking or little shops with handmade items not so much commercial wares. It...More

Savannah is lovely walking city, and the City Market is perfect spot for a lunch or dinner, and just relax. In the evening there is usually music in the square (free). Some excellent restaurants with outdoor seating.

We went to city market as our first stop in Savannah because we were starving! There are lots of restaurants and bars along with the shops. I liked the shops at city market much more than river street. They aren’t as touristy and there is...More

We enjoyed our time here. Full of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Plenty of outside seating and a great place to people watch. A nice busy bustling atmosphere that never felt intimidating.

The Pirates House has a good menu if you don't mind being away from the hub of activity found on River Street and City Market areas.

Not totally sure...I would assume they probably stay open as late as they do other nights...- a touristy area.
