This is a lovely library and something to see! The library looks exactly as it does on the picture. It's really a Baltimore monument in lovely Mt. Vernon area of town and a must see!

I live in Baltimore and only recently wandered into this treasure. pictures dont capture it. Go see it. And talk to the staff. They are a wealth of knowledge about its history and how its used today.

The Peabody is a treasure all on its own. I attended an event here and the food was delicious, the staff perfectly gracious. The setting? Divine!

Absolutely beautiful room where you just want to stay and linger. Now accompanied by a small but nice exhibition about the book collection. Entrance is via the main entrance of the Peabody institute.
