Lexington Market is apparently world famous but I’ve never actually heard of it and I’m from England. For something that is world famous, I expected it to be a lot better than it actually was. It’s far too hot inside for one but it’s very...More

I've been reading the reviews for Lexington Market, all of them are accurate, the good, the bad AND the ugly! I always wanted to see this market, having been to several others throughout the country. I had some free time one afternoon while staying in...More

I was hoping for something like the Reading Terminal Market in Philly. This was more just a bunch of fast food and junk vendors. Really disappointing. But on the other hand if you are in the neighborhood and want something to eat, quick and cheap,...More

What a neat place. All different kinds of food. Isle after isle of different vendors and live music. We enjoyed the sea food, bakery and local culture. Great place to spend a few hours.

We were really looking forward to going here but when we went we were surprised by the run down neighborhood, the constant bother of people outside the market trying to sell you something, and the overall dark and dinginess of the whole place. We didn't...More

A wide variety of foods are available from many vendors located under one roof..meats..bakery items..deli...fried chicken..etc! Go through and buy your favorites, then have a seat at an upstairs table and enjoy! MY FAV is the sausage vendor! YUMMY! Parking is available at market..

We heard about this and it was close by so we thought we would check it out and are sorry we did. There is drug deals going on and homeless people everywhere. Most of the vendors in the market accept food stamps, which tells you...More
