Several months ago I visited the market writting a review that wasn't very complementary. In an attempt to be fair I thought another visit was in order to see if my experience was an arbitration or standard operations. Sadly the place was worst then before....More

Went up to Lexington Market and was surprised that they had a band playing which was cool. I found Dancing Potato and got an overstuffed potato to take back to the hotel. When in Baltimore go visit esp on a Saturday.

Other then Faidley Seafood, many stands were closed. If you want fresh seafood, seems like the place. Parking was a bit confusing but the parking garage was next to the market. You need to go to a pay machine on a second floor unless you...More

Forget the fried chicken which was greasy bland and under done. The best thing there by far is Knauss' fresh turkey sandwich plus some fresh fruit for dessert. Reasonably priced an near the B&O museum

Shopping, food and a great place to catch the bus or train, this area has some of the best crab cakes anywhere, and I've lived near. My sister came up from VA and agreed. Great stop to get away from touristy stuff.

Best crab cakes ever - I will remember them on my deathbed. Yes, the street looks like they're filming The Wire, but if you park at the Four Seasons and walk over and back, it's fine. Just don't talk to anyone.

I wouldn't call this a tourist attraction. It is a very old market and I appreciate it's history. There are a number of vendors with fresh fish/seafood, meats, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. I did see two security staff inside the building and felt reasonably safe...More

Lexington market is a nice place to grab local inexpensive food. The hours are 9-6, so make sure you get there if planning to grab dinner. There is no where to sit down but you can stand at tables provided. Look forward to visiting again.

There's one called Faidley's at the back of the Lexington Market. It's the best crabcake ever, but I don't know about crab legs. Why not' search them on goggle or e-mail them and ask. Hope this helps.
