I had been on this tour before back in 2013, and wanted to take my husband on the tour this time around. We thoroughly enjoyed the information and the props/rooms throughout the tour. It is worth the stop if you are in Gettysburg!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this wonderful little museum. We were transfixed by the account related to us by our tour guide. Although we had heard of Gettysburg, of course, we had no idea of how much this town had suffered...More

Veronica, Wow! What a wonderful review. When my husband and I restored the house it was with the intention of telling the stories of families from all around town. We were so lucky to discover the story of the Shriver family in the midst of...More

My husband and I spent several days in Gettysburg exploring! The Shriver House Museum was fascinating; the tour guides wear "period clothes," there's a video on the unique finds when the house was restored in the 1990's, a civilian family lived here and their tale...More

Rebecca, we are so glad you enjoyed your tour of the Shriver House. The Shrivers' story is an amazing one - but it's tough to imagine this is only one of the stories of what the citizens of Gettysburg endured before, during, and after the...More
