We were able to get into the house for free during a certain time frame. There were 2 videos on each floor. Pictures adorned the walls and the bedroom that Lincoln stayed in is set up as it was in 1863. Abe Lincoln wrote the...More

Since this was a free site, it is worth a visit. I was expecting more historical items based on the looks of the outside of the building. There is a video upstairs that is worth watching. The best part of the building was the bedroom...More

Its an easy - quick - Free visit. I can actually say I learned some things about President Lincoln's Gettysburg address. The place doesn't exactly jump out at you - but it is so easy to visit when you are walking in the downtown area....More

Nice museum of another part of the story. Does not take too much time, as it is an easy read and listen on 2 floors.

Beautiful historic house. It gives me chills to think that Abraham Lincoln (one of our countries greatest Presidents) visited, ate, slept and finished his Gettysburg Address in this House. Don’t miss this stop when in Gettysburg.

There is no charge for admission. I was hoping it would be furnished completely with period items. Should be named David Wills Gettysburg Address House

There is a lot of history in the Wills House, which is where Lincoln and Everett stayed the night before the Dedication of the Soldiers National Cemetery. A docent begins your self-guided tour with an introduction to the house and David Wills. There are historic...More

We enjoyed that you can go through each room at your leisure and watch the video that covers the room your in and the history behind President Lincoln's visit! Also a quaint area of town for shops and food.

My husband and I spent several days in Gettysburg and this home was a highlight! It's a home, a museum, a carefully crafted story about it's most famous visitor, President Abraham Lincoln. I was grateful there was not a tour guide, because we could linger...More

If you really want to read, see, and listen to everything the museum has to offer, I would say 11/2 to 2 hours.
