I did a driving tour since it was raining and I was still able to see this just fine and take pictures. Go to the visitors center to get more information on what you are seeing.

This was a good place to reflect on what he was thinking as he peered through the field glasses. His skill helped to save the day. The monument was in very good condition.

Remembers those who fought and those who led is so important. This monument lets us see the responsibility taken by the leaders in this battle and all it cost in lives and determination on the three days of this battle.

Again on Little Round Top, it is a relatively east walk to view. Knowing from Ellen's battlefield tour officers' statues face the battle allows one to view the scene from the view of the leader.
