First off, I would like to try the balcony next time. It is a compact place and seems like there would be great views up there and you wouldn't be too far away. The Fillmore is too new and seems a little generic somehow. I...More

This is not a place designed for people who are older than twenty five, who have no tattoos or piercings or have any desire to sit. The first thing to do here is to buy earplugs from the nice lady at the front entrance. You...More

We've attended many concerts at Union Transfer. Good sound, variety of bands, well organized, well priced to see live music. As I am an older adult, I wish there was more seating as standing for 2+ hours is challenging for some of us.

A pretty nice venue for a hip/hop concert. There was a 2$ coat check. Two large bars. There is a large wrap around balcony where we stood and could watch the artist upclose without having to be in the thick of things on the bottom...More

We visited Union Transfer for Celeste Giuliano's Pinup Peep Show. The lighting and sound were great, and the stage was easily visible from anywhere in the room. I liked that there was a bar available in the stage room, and also one in an adjoining...More

We came to Philadelphia from Washington D.C. to see Kamasi Washington and Sun Ra at Union Transfer. We took a Lyft to the venue, but you can walk to the venue from the Spring Garden subway stop. The venue is in a regular commercial neighborhood...More

Nice venue..intimate yet plenty of room. Drinks high, but not too outrageous. Staff was really courteous. Nice parking behind the venue. Didn’t see much parking anywhere else. No dinner options I could see before the show.

I enjoy going to the Union transfer. It’s easy to get to and the place seems cleaner than other venues. Something that is interesting is between sets they let you leave and you can come back. Also they have 3 bars so you don’t have...More

Every time I have been at UT there has been no seating. Stand up the whole time. General admission. But from the various price of the tickets, looks like they put in seating. I'd call to be sure.
