Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My experience was absolutely horrific!
An associate by the name of Jaclyn found in the pictures attached was extremely rude, disrespectful and aggressive. When asked several minutes before the show for assistance for my mother, this very rude and unprofessional lady promised to assist us several times while continuing to get distracted, forcing us to miss 40 minutes of a show and yelling at myself and my mother. While we remained calm and understanding for 40 minutes, this woman continues yelling uncontrollably, while she is stating she is overwhelmed with work and can’t help us!!!! A very professional manager by the name of Devon quickly came and assisted my mother without question. This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

This review is for the Kimmel Centers ticket company Ensemble Arts Philly. Their customer service an absolute nightmare. I called three different times today and have not been able to get through. I was told my hold time would be 5 min- every time I gave up after 15 minutes. It’s absolutely impossible to get through to them. I won’t buy tickets from them again.

This was my first visit to the Kimmel Center to hear the Philadelphia Orchestra. The first two pieces were good, but Tchaikovsky's 4th was terribly conducted. The facility itself is beautiful. Verizon Hall is a great venue for a concert. It is very large and seating is comfortable. I was positively impressed. I'm looking forward to returning.

Saw the musical "Pretty Woman" last week. The play itself was good but the venue is even better. All the staff are so very helpful and seem to anticipate your needs before you even ask. The strict adherence to Covid protocols is very reassuring.

We recently went to the Kimmel Center to see the Philly Pops. What a fantastic show in a terrific venue. The acoustics are simply incredible. The seats are pretty comfortable but I do wish there was a bit more leg room. We totally loved the entire experience.

We went to a concert by the fabulous Philadelphia Orchestra. They should be on everyone’s must list when visiting Philadelphia. Great music, great artists, great acoustics and view, and a fabulous venue. There’s always something on in one of the Center’s venues, and they cater for many tastes - so check online or at the box office.

i was randomly exploring the city while returning from nearby Magic Garden and was lucky to catch an orchestra by Nathan Laube. the cafeteria was a bit expensive and do plan ahead and buy ticket as i was charged a bit more due to buying at the time of start of show. the restrooms are clean with a free coat check-in.

Went to hear the Philadelphia Orchestra last night in Verizon Hall. This was my second time in the hall in 2 months. This hall is simply mediocre and the sound of this great orchestra was muffled and not impressive. There was no impact. What a shame that this venerable city has such a disaster of a concert hall.

With perfect acoustics the soaring Kimmel Center on the Avenue of the Arts is a spectacular setting for the world class Philadelphia Orchestra & famed guest soloists. For an unusual experience, try booking (less expensive) seats in the Conductor's Circle behind the orchestra where you are face to face with the conductor - a special treat with young & expressive conductors, such as new orchestra director Yannick Nezet-Seguin & Gustavo Dudamel, who appeared recently with the dazzling Simon Bolivar Orchestra.

Programs are varied & provocative; the lobby bar is attractive; the usual lines at several ladies' rooms move quickly; nearby restaurants are first-rate; and parking in the building is convenient.

You want to hear anyone singing or talking on stage. I have no idea why but we went to the Legends of Rock Philly Pops concert- which was great-- and could barely make out what the guest singers where singing. When they talked it was a best guess as to what they had said. I have no idea if this is unique to this show or a norm but if it's the norm they should close that area of seats.
